These summaries explain how MWC Group UK, the UK branch of Manentia Wealth Consulting Group AG (FC039510, BR024616), authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 973440), handles complaints, conflicts of interest, client orders, remuneration, customers in vulnerable circumstances and the Consumer Duty.
Complaints
A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction, oral or written. Contact complaints@mwcgroup.ch or write to Complaints, MWC Group UK, The Stables, Park Lidgett Farm, Ossington, Newark, Nottinghamshire NG23 6LG.
We acknowledge your complaint promptly in writing. If we resolve it by the close of the third business day after we receive it, we send you a summary resolution letter. Otherwise, we send our final response within eight weeks.
If you are not satisfied, or we have not responded within eight weeks, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (0800 023 4567, www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk) within six months of our final response.
Conflicts of interest and inducements
We identify, prevent and manage conflicts of interest through:
-
clear reporting lines;
-
balanced remuneration;
-
personal-dealing rules;
-
disclosure of outside interests;
-
registers and training.
For discretionary portfolio management, any third-party payments we receive are passed to you in full within one month and shown on your statements.
For other services, payments or benefits are allowed only where they improve the service you receive and do not stop us acting in your best interests. We disclose them before we provide the service and report the amounts each year.
If we cannot manage a conflict, we tell you, or we decline to act.
Order transmission (best execution)
We do not execute orders ourselves. We pass them to licensed brokers, platforms or insurers, and they execute them under their own policies.
We take all sufficient steps to get the best possible result for you. Total costs come first, then speed, likelihood of execution and settlement, size and the nature of the order.
Orders are handled in the order they are received. Instructions must be confirmed in writing. Orders received after 14:00 UK time are placed on the next working day.
Remuneration
Our pay arrangements are designed not to create product bias or unsuitable advice. Variable pay is discretionary and subject to conduct and client-outcome checks. It can be withheld or clawed back.
We do not use targets based only on sales volume, or extra pay for recommending a particular product or provider. For insurance, we tell you in good time how we are paid.
Customers in vulnerable circumstances
If health, a life event or anything else makes it harder for you to manage your finances, please tell us in confidence. We can:
-
let you bring someone you trust to meetings;
-
explain things in the format you prefer;
-
offer shorter meetings;
-
provide information in large print, audio or by email.
We record your needs only where necessary and keep them secure.
Consumer Duty
We aim to deliver good outcomes for our retail clients:
-
We act in good faith.
-
We avoid foreseeable harm.
-
We support you in pursuing your financial objectives.
We review at least once a year that our services meet your needs and offer fair value. Fees are set out in writing before you commit, and our communications must be clear, fair and not misleading.
